Celebrating 100k Pageviews per Month with iPod Shuffles!

Woohoo!

This past week TentBlogger passed the 100,000 pageviews per month metric which was a personal goal of mine for the first year of this blog (and I can’t believe it’s been almost a year)!

I started TentBlogger with a few of these core traffic goals in mind and although I won’t hit most of them this was definitely one of the bigger and more important goals that I had.

And it’s not some magic formula that was used to make this mark – it was simply the combination of a few core attributes:

And that’s about it. It’s been a blast!

Let’s Celebrate!

Since you guys have been an integral part of the growth of this blog it’s only fair that we all celebrate! And nothing says celebration like dancing and music!

iPod Shuffles!

As a result of this neat milestone I’m giving away 3 iPod Shuffles to 3 lucky community members! 2 will be available to the public here and one is going to be available to those signed up to the Community Forums.

    Wow . . . 100k page views a day . . . and you only blogged for one year??? I’m only at about 100-150 page views a day, LOL.

    That is seriously amazing. I kind of wish I didn’t read that, but I did.

    This whole year for me has been trial & error, and most importantly learning a lot about the web, blogging, and the science of blogging thanks to your website.

    I have to be doing something terribly wrong. I’ve heard that usually bloggers see a decent amount of traffic after their first year, and my “first year” is about done and I really just lack the stats to prove that theory.

    Favorite dance tune? I don’t dance. Two left feet… well, actually none, left leg crippled and all. If I were to dance though… it’d probably be to some Hawk Nelson or FM Static!

    Hey, I was wondering why you’re sharing your posts as notes on your Facebook Page instead of using an application like RSS Graffiti. I saw this come up in my News Feed and read the whole thing in its original form as a Note – doesn’t that mean it’s not counting as a Page View? Or am I missing something?

    I don’t dance, but I do listen to dance music while I exercise. My favorites right now are Ellie Goulding’s “Lights” (Fear of Tigers remix) and Adam Lambert’s “If I Had You”. It would be fantastic to win a Shuffle so I can listen to music while I run too!
