Angry!

Yes, I do in fact get angry at times at my blogs.

Here’s another one by branding image that’s showcasing an emotion we all have at times, right?

It’s true – I can get super mad at my blog at times when things don’t work out right or I find something broken or even when someone says something mean via the comments!

Hey, I’m human, ok?!

When was the last time that you were upset at your blog and why?

  1. I would get angry nearly every day for a year, until you realized that MyStat was causing an error that wouldn’t allow me to properly setup feeds through feedburner. Really can’t explain the level of frustration. I threw things.

And I’m 100% for @ThatGuyKC’s idea of the fist through the screen. That would be incredible.

  2. I was angry at mine last night when I realized that I didn’t copy my google analytics code over when I updated my theme. Now theres a 3 day hole in my analytics… :( It’s all fixed now, but I was still upset. There are also some deeper design tweaks that I haven’t gotten around to doing that make me mad every time I see them.

  3. Yesterday when I was trying to fix the feedburner mail link. Thanks to Ben Nunes for setting me straight.

I think you should have an image with your fist going through the screen with the remains of the Apple logo in your hand. Just saying it’d look cool. :)

  4. All the time–especially when it seems like I know nothing about all of it…especially the coding :(

  5. I can only think of one way my blog has ever made me angry, and I’ve heard many other folks express this same thing: When WordPress somehow manages to lose a post in progress. That drives me crazy!
I safeguard now and haven’t experienced that for a while.

  6. I don’t think my blog has ever made me angry. Which is probably more than I can say for some people who read it.

  7. So far, I’ve never been angry at my blog. I’ve been blogging for over a year now, and on the Standard Theme for 3 months. I’ve had a few days where I was frustrated with something I couldn’t tweak nd I had to walk away from it. But not angry.

For the record, I think your pic looks like you’re laughing…

  8. Good question. I guess the last time I was mad at my blog I was really more mad at myself for screwing up some code.

And do you wear sweaters like that? :)

  9. Are you angry at the blog? Or are you angry at the brown vest and purple dress shirt?

  10. My blog and I haven’t spoken in a week… It’s jealous of my busy lifestyle

  11. Generally when I’m mad at my blog, there’s not a cup of coffee next to me. It really doesn’t matter what the reason is. No coffee. Angry.

  12. Haha! I love it! “That wasnt supposed to publish until tomorrow! TOMORROW!!!”

  13. Is that an apple or is pacman getting smooshed by a dot?

  14. I didn’t get angry as such with my blog yesterday but I was pretty annoyed when I found that the guy who designed the the stupidly didn’t put a 404 page in it!

I was up until 2am creating just a basic, horrible looking one.

    Tiredness=slow coding

  15. A couple of months when I was hacked! Infuriating just to think about it…

  16. I’d be angry, too, if I was wearing a sweater vest.

  17. The time I decided to do a post strictly to just attract traffic and did not show my voice that people have come to expect. This negative feedback made me mad but really it made me realize to stick to my voice.

  18. That would be… when my blog wouldn’t let comments show up. It wanted me to approve every comment, but had no option for approving them. Then it gave my techie friend and I lots of trouble while trying to upgrade it.

Yeah, that was me VERY angry at my blog, haha.

It’s OK to be angry at your blog. Just don’t hit it too hard!

  20. Hey I’ve been stressing trying to figure out the “twitter plus feedburner box.” It only counts my twitter followers for me. I typed in my feed title, and that didn’t work. Then I tried the original feed and the feed address and none worked. Do I need to upgrade my Standard Theme? Thanks John.
