Should We Continue Weekly Live TentBlogging Broadcasts?

October 20, 2010 — 51 Comments

That was really fun!

Thank you guys for joining me on a Beta run of a live weekly event here at TentBlogger! I’m glad we could meet, connect, and allow me to serve you by answering some of your questions.

For now, we’ll be having the Live Events here: http://TentBlogger.com/live/

I am using LiveStream.com for the broadcasting service.

Question: Is this something you’d be interested in doing weekly? Monthly? Let me here your thoughts in the comments!

If you missed the broadcast you can get it right here after the jump.

Ah. That was fun.

It seems that we also just got the channel approved and verified meaning that we can host unlimited viewers (was only 50), among other things:

Emails like this make me happy.

  1. It was huge for me but I’m worried that weekly would become to much of a burden for you and not as effective. I like the idea of keeping it informal, like a tweetup/meetup. Give everyone heads up as soon as you know it will work in your schedule. that will give us time to make some coffee and lock the kids or boss in the closet and get online :)

  2. Monthly would be awesome!

  3. Next time not so early for us west coasters…I just happened to be reading my twitter feed in bed on my phone so I was able to catch a bit before work. Maybe make them at different times, morning, noon, and night. BTW, congrats on getting your wife to let you stay at home all day and blog…lucky dude!

  4. It was fun. Weekly would be cool. But monthly seems as though it would make it more effective.

  5. I like the weekly idea. Not everyone can make it each time. So weekly gives opportunity to chime in at least once or twice a month. Of course, it really has to work around your schedule. This provides great coaching and a chance to know our Standard Theme designer!

  6. Weekly sounds great. But assuming you have a busy schedule, won’t it become burdensome. I’m up for the idea. I like it. I couldn’t make it today. I was in school :/ bummer.

  7. I think that the idea is great. If you can keep it up then weekly would be good :) – Today the stream started at 16:30 for me – if it stays on that time I will have to make some plans (don’t want to miss it next time)

  8. I think monthly is fine.

  9. weekly. weekly. weekly. (that was a chant, could you tell)
Got me inspired for the day. just happened to see your tweet in time to catch last 10 minutes. glad I did.

  10. Set a sustainable pace. No more than twice per month. Plus, it looks like they will be archived if me miss, which is a win.

  11. I like weekly. I will join when I can and check out the archives if I can’t. You might consider themed broadcasts sometimes, but I like the open Q&A approach. This is very helpful to me.

  12. Go for it. I would love if it were after hours (6:00pm or later) because I just can’t do it during the day, but whatever works best. I’d just have to watch the replay.

  13. Dang. I missed it. Will watch the reply but yes, I’d be interested in participating with some sort of frequency.

  14. I didn’t release this was even happening! It’s a GREAT idea! I would love to be a part of it next time!
