Sometimes there are things that it’s simply not worth spending anytime explaining to anyone – they will never get it. Never, ever, ever, ever.

And that’s not a bad thing – it is what it is.

I feel like this the most when I have to explain to incredulous people that I actually love what I do, which is rather unfortunate and sad since many people we work with simply don’t believe that you can actually love what you do and who you work with.

I want to correct people’s perceptions about work and vocation. I want to help them see that there is a reality where you wake up every morning and love the idea of heading into “work” – that you love the idea of getting to see the people that you interface with and are sad to leave that environment when “business” time is over.

If I can move more people here then I feel like I will have done a better job of providing value for the most people possible.

  1. I totally agree… sometimes it’s just a waste of time to try to explain something to someone who just wont get it anyways. It’s a battle for me though because I like explaining things.
