Most of us aren’t this and neither are anyone we know within 6 degrees of separation.

What if your most important role and responsibility on the planet is to parent a child like this (And even if they were not exactly like this)? What if you were created for the distinct purpose of being the being an amazing parent and that was your call, your unique design?

It changes your perspective on ambition and success.

  1. Wow! You mean you were not 17 with a masters degree? This kids is special! But I do appreciate his attitude and drive to learn! But, I don’t know about crocheting, but I guess it’s cool if he likes it.

This kid is a coding guru who will land him first Google or Apple?

  2. Wow!!! This was definitely an eye opener for me and I believe it should be for all of us! Inspiring and encouraging!!! This kid makes me want my Master’s degree more now! So can’t wait for classes to restart now!

To be this kid’s parent would be a wild ride in of itself!

  3. Love this post. I’ve been struggling with some of the standardization of education–I have a kid who has failed, stayed back, and struggled. He solves rubics cubes in about ten seconds, and has tried to teach me. Good luck with that. But school has so many requirements and less and less flexibility for students with varying gifts.

Thank you for this post. It’s something I think about a lot.

  4. It’s amazing to see how this kid has excelled and most importantly how his parent’s are helping guide him in areas where he’s still a kid!
