I gave myself a little gift this Christmas Holiday by setting aside some time to convert an old Sega Genesis System into a functional iPhone 3GS Dock.
Good times. Good times.
I’ve documented the process through some photos and videos.
I did goof twice though: I broke the top part that opens/shuts. I had to fix this with a small paperclip. Secondly, I realized when I was done that the dock that I did have was a first generation dock and didn’t work with my 3GS version. Sad. I had to goto the local Apple Store to buy a new one.
Check it out after the jump!

Fun!

That is too cool. Looks great!
Thanks dude!

If you get two features on LifeHacker back-to-back in the same week, you might need to switch careers.
That would be sick.John
