No, not “John Doe” but “John.do“!
It took about 6 weeks but a new domain finally resolved and I’m moving my personal landing page and space on the internets to www.John.do.
There’s obviously a bit of wordplay here and a bit of irony and I like that.
Oh… the irony!!!11111111!!!1!!111!
I think it’s clever (but my wife just laughs at me).
In either case, it’s a much smaller domain name, much easier to spell, and it’s different.
I also own John.ly, which is interesting since my Korean last name is “Lee” and my english middle name is “Lee”…
Oh well. Just one will do.
I’m looking forward to using my new email address too.
The End.

For the uninitiated – how do you do this?
purchase via a domain registar and change the nameservers!
Thew new email address? In addition to the 65 other email addresses you probably have?
I’m guessing at this point I could just send an email to john@dspojdspfjspfdf.com and it would reach you at some point.
clever.
Maybe I should park http://www.an.do. Also a good pun.
… i’m thinking snoop dogg. don’t ask why.
Highly clever… I was writing a book about a Jon Doe, but I kinda like Jon Do… Damn, now you’ll be suing me for royalties if I ever get it published…
so happy that you did not use John.lee
brings a whole new experience when ordering a John Lee at the Spur (Coke and lemon)
kudos on the new personal landing page – makes sense to have something simple and easy to type – and distribute.
.lee would be neat…
Wow. Nice win there, John.
Off the record… how many domains do you actually own at the moment
that’s a dangerous question… ask @dewde.
I’m considering buy a .do domain name as well. I’ve used Moniker for a long time but they don’t offer the .do extension. Who would you recommend?
ah.get creative! tons of opportunities still!
