For those that are interested, my presentation slides are embedded above.
I had an incredible time sharing my thoughts on entrepreneurship and how that relates to business, blogging, family, and even ministry. What a great crowd and I’m so thankful to be a part of this years event!
If you have any questions at all feel free to comment below or if you’re at the conference just grab me!
And… for those that are first encountering this blog… please check out the Blog Post Series that I’ve designed for bloggers like you…! I’ve covered a lot of material and it could answer a lot of your questions! Feel free to use the search bar on the right too!
[Note: For those that were at Savvy Blogging Conference I used similar slides for that talk but created some contextualization for this one. Love that!]

Slide 53 – Say no before you say yes. I like this, can you elaborate on it. I think I know but, just want clarification. Thanks!
before i say “yes” to a new project, new venture, or new opportunity, i must say “no” to one that currently exists. which means that i either must leave it behind, sell it, exit in some fashion, or just quit it in some manner.
this has saved my bacon a number of times… and my marriage.
ahh. so good. thanks for that for sure.
Just spoke with my dad toady about something like this. Wasn’t worded this way but totally made sense. He has started a business after leaving one but then started several others within the same business. It grew into an unmanageable mess that engulfed him and every ounce of energy he and the family had. Unfortunately for him, it sunk him. Our conversation today uncovered some incredible insights from the world of old style marketing and entrepreneurship.
Ideas, FOCUS, and effort seem to be the keys to generating a real business.
Wish I could have heard this but thanks for the slides. They were great.
Well that was a bunch of random slides… since I wasn’t there. Still, I could see the outline even if the details eluded me. Obviously I wish I could have heard the entire presentation – let me know if you get a copy or if it becomes available online.
The part that reached right to me today wasn’t mind blowing, but it was great reminder: the Edison quote that genius is 99% perspiration. Do the work, keep working, keep working. Thanks for sharing, encouraging, and equipping, John.
Sorry but what is it all about, what presentation. Where can I see the presentation.
