This is all I can think about today. Yes, I’m not entirely obsessed but I am very excited. There is a difference!
In fact, today is more than just iPhone 5 day… it’s Apple Day at my house as I’m expecting three shipments of products from that company and I plan to be here for each one:
I’ll be sharing more information about one of the purchases as well, related to my home backup and data solution – that should be fairly interesting.
I’m working from home and I can’t seem to concentrate. Go figure?
My buddy just picked one up from the local Verizon store. He was 6th in line at 7am.
Waiting patiently for my employer to progress beyond 2007 and offer an option other than Blackberry. Carrying two phones is not a good option, so I’ll have to wait for the demise of RIM.

I’ll be living vicariously through you and the other folks getting their iPhone 5 today. I could have upgraded no problem, but I am waiting for my AT&T contract to end next month so I can switch to Verizon.
I’m hoping that this gives enough time for all the potential bugs to be worked out.
Unfortunately, I won’t be upgrading to the iPhone 5 since we opted for the cheap $99 8GB 4 when the 4S came out last fall.
It looks amazing from the event and website. Totally breaking the 10th commandment here.
I was in San Francisco this past weekend for DreamForce, and stayed near the Apple Store. The line on Friday was around the block. That didn’t surprise me. The Apple Store staff feeding breakfast to those in line? That surprised me! I got a pic of one of the guys who must have been among the first in line.
