I’m happy to announce the release of my very first “premium” or “paid” WordPress Theme to the general public: The Online Community Pastor WordPress Theme!

As you can see, it has some very nice stylized CSS with a built-in Lifestream for all your Social Networking needs, with a Flickr feed at the bottom. A sweet looking Archives page tops it off. Choose up to 3 different color schemes, dynamically change the colors and backgrounds (or add your own), and more!

Check out more screenshots after the jump and then purchase it!

  1. Looks hot. Unfortunately, I'm just a lowly youth pastor. :)

  2. Sounds good man….so, is this theme GPL compliant, and all that?

  3. Ah John, you never cease to amaze me!

  4. Nice work man. This is a sweet theme. And the price? Yowza!

  5. Very nice. I just redesigned my blog, but now I'm second guessing myself in favor of this.

  6. I guess I'll have to buy it…since it was made for dudes with my job

  7. There's the hawtness! My Senior Pastor has been thinking about getting a blog… might try this theme out for him! :) You rock my face off!

  8. good job man. good price too!! well done.

  9. thas pretty bold. like it.

  10. I know I'm not saying anything new or original, but that's a sick looking theme. Well done, John.

  11. I tweeted but don't have a code

  12. John, can you add pages to this theme?

  13. Can I pay you in IOU'S? How about canadian? I have $10 dollars from canada, that has to be like $10,000 US. Right?

  14. I just purchased it even though I don't have a project to use it on right now. But it was too good to pass up. Thanks for sharing

  15. How many licenses for $19?

  16. I actually might use this theme for myself… haha… :)

  17. Hey man I just installed it over at http://gbrenna.com and I can't get the bottom image for the "lifestreaming" section to be in the right place… take a look… any thoughts? Other than that I'm super happy with it! I'll be getting a different picture soon… haha

  18. Unchecked the box to give the plugin credit.

—Sorry for the brevity and rampant spelling errors… This was obviously “Sent from my iPhone”.

  19. John, i purchased and downloaded, then unzipped. It's not showing up in my themes gallery in WP. Using WP 2.6.3- could this explain the problem?

  20. so… is there a way/place to download a theme like carlos' raggamuffin soul?

  21. carlos is going through a redesign… ;)

    • are either the old or new designs available for download… or better yet… a hybrid of the ragamuffin soul design and the online community pastor design. the header of carlos' and the rest like OCP. ??

  22. let me think about that… perhaps i'll release the header.

  23. Getting ready to purchase this theme…love it. Few questions….I tweeted and would love a discount code. Second what kind of texture do I need to use for the background? What dimensions?

  24. This looks awesome! Can I install it in DreamHost and use it even though I'm a CSS moron?

  25. Great colour themes, Thanks for free dnowload.

  26. Great theme…just retweeted it…is the discount code still valid?

  27. I love this theme and trying to set it up now.

The only problem I'm having is I'm not sure where to edit/set the main photo on the right hand side or edit the text under it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

  28. Gorgeous theme, John, but you do not charge nearly enough for your work. You could sell this for $49, heck $99 for that matter. :-) K

  29. Hey John, are you still offering a coupon to those who retweet this? Let me know. =) I'll still happily retweet too, lol.

  30. Hi John,

Love these theme, just bought it and am configuring it. One question though. Is it possible to replace the Blog Title and Tagline at the top with a jpg logo?

    Thanks,

    James

    • Yes, you can do anything you’d like to it!

      • Thanks! One more question. Which file contains the value for the colour behind the sidebar on far right? I’d like to darken the green theme slightly by using a different hex value, but I can’t find the line in either stylesheet.css or green.css that changes this value.

        Any assist?

        • James, have you used firebug b4? that’ll help you with all css.

          • Yeah. But no sooner had I posted by question that I realized you’re not calling a hex colour value, you’re calling an image – content_green.gif. So…all is well :) Thanks for the swift responses!

  31. http://www.davidnormanblog.com

great theme. it’s been a favorite of mine and one of the primary reasons i jumped from blogger to WP.

i’ve got a gap between the labels at the top (about, blog, archives, contact) and the sidebars are popping up at the very bottom instead of in the sidebar (but only on the “blog” page)

thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer…

  32. I absolutely love this theme and use it for my wife’s blog and mine! You did a great job with it, and I’m not just saying that because I had a question! How can the right sidebar be set up to allow widgets? I tried figuring it out using WordPress help files, but I’m a pastor and not a tech guy for a reason!

  33. Great stuff man… stumbled upon your name twice today… once look for pastor wordpress blogs and then the second time as I showed a friend on the different degrees at DTS, where I just finished a few months ago. Keep up all the awesome stuff you do with stuff like these templates, working at NP and good luck with the rest of your classes at DTS!!!

  34. Tried this theme and the iCampus Pastor theme… both are saying that they are missing a stylesheet and it does not load into wordpress properly… I am sure I am doing something wrong… just wanted to know if you knew off the top of your head what i was doing wrong
