Part of any professional blogger‘s job is to continue to optimize and experiment with income channels and be willing to risk a lower payout (or a drop in advertising revenue) to explore potential.
It can be tough but I’ve learned that experimentation is one of my greatest assets! And with a little help from @RyanImel, the founder of WPCandy, I’ve gotten a sweet invite to test out his new WordPress Ad Publishing network, Pressed Ads.
Part of the reason I’ve decided to try it out is that it’ll provide much more targeted advertising with very qualified and quality partner organizations, especially since I’m such a big WordPress evangelist!
In addition, it makes advertising a whole lot more simple, and much more clean on the sidebar – in fact, it makes me want to rock that redesign that I’ve been planning for more than a year even sooner to give Pressed Ads an even more prominent position!
But, I’ll get to it eventually.

So what do you think about this new advertising strategy? Some of you may be pretty surprised that I’ve decided to test it out, especially with the significant rise of my other channels of income (like Adsense last month) but there’s never a perfect time to test so to heck with it – I’m going to just check it out and see how it goes!
Thanks to Ryan for letting me into the network and three cheers for Pressed Ads!

Awesome idea for sure.
Glad you got in.
i’ll let you know how it rolls!

Hey John,
Thanks a lot for showcasing this revenue stream.. but I think you didn’t point out what’s the main benefit over BySellAds per say?
Do they pay more or smth?
well, hopefully it will. even though i know i’ll lose some in the beginning.
Hi John,
Thanks for sharing anouther revenue generating scheme.
I would like to use it once I’ll monetize my blog.
sure thing! i hope it helps.
Excited to see how it performs. Will have to check it out.
Testing new channels to generate income is always the thing to do and this Pressed Ads things looks incredibly well and I guess that it can generate quite a few clicks because it doesn’t look like the ads people are used to seeing. If the pay is right, then certainly this could become one big source of income for bloggers worldwide – I personally am looking forward to seeing this go public!
