Productivity, South Korea, and Starcraft

July 27, 2010 — 2 Comments

It has long been known that South Korea houses some of the best talent when it comes to Starcraft. I mean, it’s so big over there that people make their entire living playing that game and they even broadcast it onto cable channels.

When I was there 2 years ago I was able to casually browse and found half a dozen channels dedicated to the game and showing live tournament feeds. It baffles me how any work gets done over there…

Awesome!

Although I am Korean I apparently have not been given the gift of awesome-game-playing-skills. I look the part though.

Haha.

In any case, I would imagine that productivity is going to take an enormous hit now that Starcraft 2 is out.

Gogogo!
