We’re going to have a crazy-neat meetup where I’m going to install, migrate, setup, and optimize this blog, TentBlogger.com, onto the new Standard 3 publishing platform in real-time.
What you can expect is as follows:

It seems like livestream or a recording is become a popular need amongst fellow tentbloggers.

I would like to second (third, fourth, fifth?) the idea of recording it! I have zero chance of making it in person and likely wouldn’t be able to see it live either due to my erratic “rea” job’s schedule.
Actually, assuming you set up Standard the same way you did when you wrote your blog posts about setting up a WordPress blog, I think I have a pretty good idea how you do it. What I’m more interested in is your plugins and optimization. I feel like your posts on that are a little dated and I haven’t seen any updates in a long time.
Plus, with the SEO enhancements for Standard 3, I’m wondering what else (if anything) you do for SEO when setting up right away.
Should I wait until this meetup to migrate from wp.com to self hosting / Standard v.3, or could I start working on this and come to the meetup for some fine tuning?

I’ve been giving this some thought and I’ve decided that there’s a compelling reason for you to record this and make it available…it’ll make would-be Standard Theme users much more likely to be actual Standard Theme users when they see how user friendly the theme is.
