True Ninja Feet: Vibram Five Fingers

Yes. It is true. I’m rocking some Vibram Five Finger shoes. And yes, I actually wore them out in public when I went to the mall to fix my iPhone.

Blame @MrsBear for the strangeness on my feet.

    I love them for running and have hiked in them too.

    I don't have them, but one of my good friends does and he swears by them. Especially for running….kinda what they're designed for.

    I think Michael Hyatt was rocking them as well….I could be wrong though.

    A friend of mine loves running in them. He's been trying to convince me to pick up some. That'd get some head turns walking into a deacon meeting in those.

    I've had a quite a few friends recommend these. I like em. I'd get some cuz they actually come in my size (15)! (Note- they're sized in inches, not US sizes. Measure your foot and that's your size!)

    So sweet. Oh to be a ninja.

    So are they:
    1. So comfortable you could wear them all day at work?
    2. Hot on your feet? Do they do well in cold weather/hot weather?

    I haven't tried any on, but having known about them since they were released, I'd really love to have a pair for canoeing and such. I'm just too cheap to pay what they're asking. :/

    I ordered them from REI for Christmas, and I just got an email yesterday saying they shipped. So I'll let you know. But I expect a full review. What was your motivation? Mine was that I have some old running injuries and I am hopeful that these guys could help me out. You just want to be a true Ninja, you think these are going to push you over the edge to have real ultimate power.(net)?

    Glad to see you took the plunge. I hope Sue has a pair, too! Did you ever see my beginner's guide to vibram five fingers? Sorry I hit you on twitter with so many replies re: WP. I do dig your implementation here. Very clean layout. Me like.

    Happy VFF'ing and take it slow in the beginning. Particularly if you are going to run or if you jump from any height — landings without padding take some practice!

    Those look pretty cool. I've seen a few around – I've heard they are awesome for working out. They are big in the CrossFit (www.crossfit.com) community.

    I just bought a pair of these about a week ago…slowly adjusting to wearing them and running in them.

    I get some pretty awesome stares at the gym!

    Those could come in handy for those moments when you drop something and can only pick it up with your toes…now you won’t have to take your shoes off!

    I am proud to say that own a par of Vibram Five Fingers. I have the classic style. I wear them out in public all the time and get some very crazy questions. I love them.
