Giveaway: Free Hosting with WebHostingBuzz

webhostingbuzz

I’ve had a lot of giveaways historically but one of my favorite “types” of giveaways surrounds the new projects, new ventures, new blogs, and new businesses.

Specifically the ability to hook up some of my community with free web hosting and give them the opportunity to engage with their new dream! Well, we’ve got another one lined up and this time it’s via WebHostingBuzz, who live, sleep, and breath web hosting.

They have over 30,000 clients across 200 countries and have a growing track record of providing great service with 24/7 support, and they are looking to give 5 people 1 year free hosting (their “Silver” package):

  • 750 GB Disk Space
  • 15000 GB Bandwidth
  • Free Domain Name
  • Free Migration / Transfer
  • Unlimited Websites / Domains
  • cPanel control panel [Demo]
  • 99.9% Uptime Guarantee
  • Server Level Backups

Like I mentioned, this would be a perfect place to try out that new idea, see if has some legs, and launch it with zero cash out of pocket! Why not, right?

Here’s how to enter:

  • Share your thoughts on what project or business or idea you’d implement on the service in the comments for +1 entry.
  • Tweet, share via Facebook or Google Plus for +1 entry each time.

I’ll come back and tell the the commenters next Friday who won. Good luck!

John

  1. Wow! Great giveaway. This would be a wonderful win. It would make it possible for me to transition to WordPress. So hopeful….

  2. Yes i tweeted,liked and g+.Cool giveaway :D

  3. I would use it to self-host my personal blog. I use WordPress.com now. Thanks for the opportunity!

  4. I would definitely launch my public speaking site and blog! Thanks for all you do!

  5. I’ve had a great personal project in mind for a while, but until some other ideas are profitable, I’ve opted to not even buy the domain name. Things are a little financially rocky right now but this would give me the opportunity to launch this project and generate some income (eventually).

  6. I have a dad blog that I have purchased the domain for and would love to start working on. My wife just began staying at home and so this project has been put on the backburner because of the changed in revenue coming in.

Would love to get it rolling!!

  7. I’d move my personal website to their hosting because iPage isn’t exactly a great host.

  8. My husband & I have a few sites mulling in our heads. Would love to get one started for free!

  14. I recommended the giveaway on google+ and twitter.

  15. I’m currently in the process of launching a resource blog aimed at assisting beginner WordPress users. Instead of focusing on everything WordPress like most WordPress blogs, I’m providing information solely on ways to get your WordPress blog up and running by providing tips, tricks, and tutorials to help new users achieve that. In the end I don’t want people to regret not doing something that would eventually help them down the road.

  16. Unlike other hosting, I will host my blog without any issues for 1 year

  17. I’d use it to launch a website for a sustainable agriculture and young adult volunteering non-profit. Or I might use it to launch a website for my friend’s farm they are getting started.

  18. I would move my new site simplechurchtech.net over to its own server, because right now I am sharing a hostgator server with someone else and would prefer to get my entire site off of a shared package like it is now. As my site grows I want to make sure it stays, fast, secure, and most of all customizable to my needs to help Churches and Organizations in the tech world.

  35. after almost 3 months with them may i say that their service are the worst! worst then some free hosting, serversfree.com or 000webhosting. response time from 1.2 seconds, with a clean wordpress install and no plugins. many downtimes, about 20 h in 3 months…3 or 4 times on a week downtime for 5 minutes at least. checked with pingdom

  36. John, always love your giveaways….but i have to tell you as a guy who had WHB for a few years…they have a claim right now that they have “Award Winning Customer Service” and I spewed Dr Pepper on my keyboard. I had gotworship.net (now weleadworship.com ) hosted with them on first a shared server, then a VPS when it grew…then a dedicated server when it got too big. Their service was horrific. Simple matters they were no help in. I had to troubleshoot things that I should have never been troubleshooting based on what my plan said THEY covered. THEY were the reason I came to you a couple of years back asking for your opinion on hosting. I wouldn’t recommend at all. Good price? Yes. Good service? The worst.
